Do you have certain days you cook your favorite foods? 🤠Fridays are when I love to cook salmon. Not sure how it happened 😂 But this Blackened Jalapeno Honey Salmon is always the recipe I lean towards 🤤

1. In a small bowl, whisk all the sauce ingredients together. Set aside. 2. In a separate bowl, mix the garlic powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper together. Evenly sprinkle onto the salmon fillets and gently pat the seasoning mix down onto the fillets. 3. In a large cast iron skillet, heat up the one tablespoon olive oil over medium high heat. 4. Add the seasoned salmon fillets to sear for 3 minutes on each side. Remove from cast iron on to a plate. 5. Add the sauce mixture into the cast iron skillet and cook for 2 minutes. 6. Add the salmon fillets back into the cast iron skillet. Using a spoon, coat the salmon fillets in sauce. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes, or until salmon is fully cooked. 7. Serve the salmon warm, garnishing with freshly chopped parsley and lemon slices.
