French Onion Pasta
This Creamy French Onion Pasta uses only one pot, rich in flavor for the beginning of Fall season yet still light enough for those still enjoying Summer’s heat
What you need

cup heavy cream

lb shell pasta

cup beef broth

tbsp thyme

oz mushroom mix

garlic

yellow onion

cup extra-virgin olive oil
Instructions
1. In a large skillet over medium high heat, add the olive oil. 2. Add the thinly sliced onions to sauté for 15-20 minutes, until deeply caramelized, stirring occasionally to keep from burning. 3. Add the minced garlic, mushrooms, and thyme. Sauté 2-3 minutes. 4. Add the white wine to deglaze the skillet on medium heat for 1-2 minutes. 5. Add the beef broth and water, then bring to a boil. 6. Add the uncooked pasta, using a wooden spoon to make sure all the pasta is under the liquids, to cook until al dente. 7. Turn off the heat and remove from the stovetop. Stir in the heavy cream and apple cider vinegar. 8. Garnish with freshly grated parmesan and fresh thyme leaves to serve!View original recipe
