Prosciutto Pear & Gouda Crostini
An easy holiday appetizer that is ready in under 20 minutes!
What you need

anjou pear

thyme

cup honey

tbsp extra-virgin olive oil

baguette

oz gouda
Instructions
Place the sliced baguette pieces on a rimmed baking pan. Drizzle all sides generously with the olive oil. Broil for 2-3 minutes on one side, just until golden. Remove the crostini from the oven and flip each piece over to the unbaked side. Add the thinly sliced gouda to cover the surface of each crostini. Turn oven ON to 375. Bake for 5-6 minutes, just until beginning to melt. In the meantime, wrap each thinly sliced pear in a half slice of prosciutto. Layer the baked gouda crostini with a prosciutto-wrapped pear, or a simple pear slice, and drizzle with honey. Garnish with fresh thyme leaves to enjoy warm!View original recipe
