What you need

pinch salt

tbsp parsley

tbsp basil

garlic

cup parmesan cheese

cup extra-virgin olive oil

cup salted butter

oz fresh mozzarella
egg

lb pizza crust

pasta sauce
Instructions
Preheat oven to 450F. Line a large, rimmed baking pan with parchment paper. Slice the mozzarella into 1” pieces. On a floured surface, divide the pizza dough into 22-25 pieces, depending on how big you want your Christmas tree shape. Wrap a dough piece around each piece of mozzarella, sealing together the ends and rolling in between the palm of your hands to seal tightly. Place the stuffed dough balls in a Christmas-tree shape on the prepared pan. Brush with the egg wash. Bake for 15-20 minutes, until golden brown on top. In a large bowl, combine the melted butter, olive oil, grated parmesan, chopped basil, parsley, and minced garlic. Mix well. Season with salt and black pepper to taste. Brush on the warm mozzarella-stuffed rolls and enjoy warm with marinara sauce!View original recipe
