What you need

fl oz blood orange juice

tbsp granulated cane sugar

blood orange zest

fl oz coconut milk
lemon

tsp maple syrup
Instructions
1. Combine the blood orange zest and sugar together in a shallow rimmed plate. 2. Rub the lemon wedge on half of the drinking glass, then roll through the blood orange sugar. If needed, use your fingers to help press the sugar onto the glass. (You can also just garnish the rims.) 3. Place the glass in the freezer for 5-10 minutes to chill. 4. In the chilled glass, add the blood orange juice, coconut milk, and aperitif alternative. Stir well. 5. Add ice to taste, then top off with club soda. 6. The coconut milk will naturally rise to the top, so you would need to stir it once more before sipping. 7. Add a splash of lemon juice and maple syrup to taste and enjoy!View original recipe
