Blackened Jalapeno Honey Salmon

Do you have certain days you cook your favorite foods? 🤠Fridays are when I love to cook salmon. Not sure how it happened 😂 But this Blackened Jalapeno Honey Salmon is always the recipe I lean towards 🤤

What you need

tsp garlic powder

tsp black pepper

clove garlic clove

tbsp olive oil

tsp paprika
salmon fillet

tsp table salt

tbsp fresh parsley

cup water

tbsp lemon juice

jalapeno
Instructions
1. In a small bowl, whisk all the sauce ingredients together. Set aside. 2. In a separate bowl, mix the garlic powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper together. Evenly sprinkle onto the salmon fillets and gently pat the seasoning mix down onto the fillets. 3. In a large cast iron skillet, heat up the one tablespoon olive oil over medium high heat. 4. Add the seasoned salmon fillets to sear for 3 minutes on each side. Remove from cast iron on to a plate. 5. Add the sauce mixture into the cast iron skillet and cook for 2 minutes. 6. Add the salmon fillets back into the cast iron skillet. Using a spoon, coat the salmon fillets in sauce. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes, or until salmon is fully cooked. 7. Serve the salmon warm, garnishing with freshly chopped parsley and lemon slices.View original recipe
