What you need

bunch fresh cilantro

bunch scallion
lime

tsp cayenne pepper

tsp fresh ginger

tbsp sesame seed

lb ground pork

tbsp hoisin sauce

tsp garlic powder

tbsp soy sauce
tbsp fresh garlic

tbsp sesame oil

tsp plain flour

tsp sriracha hot sauce

tbsp olive oil

corn tortilla
tbsp liquid honey
Instructions
1. To Make the Seasoned Ground Pork: Combine all ingredients in a bowl. Mix until well combined. 2. To Make the Sticky Glaze: Combine all ingredients in a saucepan. Bring to a boil then simmer 3-4 minutes, until slightly thickened. 3. To Make the Smashed Tacos: Divide the pork into 8 equally-sized balls. Place on top of each corn tortilla then smash over the entire surface of the tortilla. 4. In a large skillet, add the olive oil. 5. Cook pork-side down for 2 minutes, then flip to cook 1 minute, or until the tortilla has crisped up along the edges. Brush the pork in the glaze, then flip to cook 30 seconds. If needed, cook the tortilla another 1 minute. Repeat with remaining tortillas. 6. If there is more glaze leftover, you can brush on the tortillas. Garnish with the chopped cilantro, scallions, and pickled onions to enjoy warm!View original recipe
